We are delighted to welcome another new Wight Marque Member - Bartlett's Farm Flowers, which is the first producer member in the 'Cut Flower' category of the scheme. Bartlett's Farm Flowers is run by Anne White & Jenny Cannell - who are sisters-in-law working together and turning their passion for beautiful home-grown flowers into a great new business.
We are pleased to invite Wight Marque members to our latest ‘Behind the Scenes’ visit – Richard Hodgson of IW Cheese Company has invited you to come and see his production site and learn all about his award-winning cheeses!
Am sure you all know Rich and are familiar with his products but come and quiz him on how he produces his products and take advantage of the opportunity to hear from one of our most successful food businesses, who sells all across the country and has set up from scratch on-farm, using milk from fellow-Wight Marque member Michael Reed of Queenbower Dairy.
We are delighted to welcome not only a new Wight Marque Member, but also fantastic products which are a real 'First' for the Isle of Wight. Having kept goats for many years in Berkshire with a range of goats milk products being sold at the local Farmers' Markets, this family run business decided to start over with a move to the Island in 2013 to become the Island's first Dairy Goat Farm and producer of Goats Cheese and products.
